Three Fingers

Chinese artist Ai Weiwei and I have this in common:  giving something or someone the finger as artwork. Here you see mine in ceramic sculpture.
Weiwei’s fingers in glass (see image)and other materials tour galleries and museums around the world, including Millesgården in Sweden. I saw that his fingers can cost from 11,000 euros each in “limited editions” of 100 works. My handicraft made fingers are comparatively a super find. Available in versions from 60 euros each (so far).
I did my first fingers like this in high school as a stubborn teenager. Weiwei seems to have started much later. So mine are definitely not copies of his work
